MG 220 VZT
The MG 220 VZT is a mid-sized granulator designed for the granulation, separation and recovery of copper or aluminum components from a wide range of discarded electrical components including cable, electric wire, circuit boards and other electronic equipment. The MG 220 VZT is designed to efficiently process 1100 to 1300 pounds per hour of scrap material. The result is 99.9% purity of recovered copper or aluminum.

Utilizing MG’s patented Zig Zag-Turbo process, the MG 220 VZT automatically separates thicker, more rigid material from smaller filament and fine wire. The 220 VZT reduces all of the material to granular form before separating the valuable re-useable metal components from the discarded harness, coating and insulation materials. The separation process is achieved by air flow, separating materials of different specific weights.
Recycled copper in granular form has a higher value than unprocessed copper material.
If the load of discarded cable and wiring material to be processed is variable in mass, format or insulation type, a Tritronic Pre-Shredder is an essential accessory. This equipment facilitates the process by stripping the material to a more homogenous form for easier granulation by the MG 220 VZT.
